Pregnancy testing
Pregnancy testing is available in store. Pregnancy tests detect the hormone human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG), which starts to be produced around 6 days after fertilisation.
A pregnancy test can be carried out from the first day of a missed period. If you don't know when your next period is due, the test can be carried out at least 21 days after you last had unprotected sex.
You can phone to arrange a pregnancy test and bring with you a urine sample collected at any time of day.
A wide range of support options are available including your GP, sexual health services and clinics near you.
